If you are seeking peace and tranquillity, 'old-world' values
and a close family unit society, then Castellar
de la Frontera is definitely for you Surrounded by agriculture,
mainly cork, orange and lemon groves makes for amazing
country walking area and newly designated cycle tracks
on main roads made this a safe cycling area too, even
on the main roads of Castellar de la Frontera.

including famous Sotogrande, which also has the nearest

can explore the Costa del Luz with its white-sand beaches
and coves lashed by the Atlantic, with small fishing
villages dotted along the coast towards Cadiz offering
fresh fish specialties. From Castellar de la Frontera,
Ronda can be reached by train from a nearby station
and makes a great day out, stopping at all the little
village stations en-route. You really can still leave

a lot of which is organised free by the Town Hall.

a weekly rastro market and a daily covered market with
many local produce being sold.
Good access roads to
the village, although a rather 'rustic' bus service
